| ive decided to revive my xanga, or at least for february break. after seeing brian's xanga, i guess i will try and accomplish goals during my break as well. so far thats not going too well, i sleep till about 3 pm and usually take a 2 hour nap sometime in the afternoon/evening. but i do spend about 9 hours awake, which means i have time to be efficient. hopefully i can finish all this dumb hw i still have, i dont think asian people can get senioritis because they can never settle for grades lower than theyre used to. im not really sure where this motivation to do work comes from. also i would like to watch a lot more movies in these last 5 days of break. i went to see final destination with brian and ben, and i was actually scared (maybe im just a wussy). its been a while since i saw that kind of scary movie. i rented hustle and flow and saw 2, and together those 2 movies cost me $9.48!! what a ripoff, they used to be 2 dollars each in the last millenium. maybe if i had more time off from school i would get netflix again, since i have a list of movies i'd still like to see. i plan on practicing violin on a day that i dont have my lesson this week! ha it has probably been a couple months since i've played my violin on a day without rpyo or lessons or some kind of performance. i figure if i want to have a decent senior recital, i should probably try and get some practice in. back to the academics, of course... hopefully i can finish sending in all my financial aid info and scholarship applications before next week. when people say they are all done with college stuff after the application deadlines, they are lying like crazy. post application stuff probably took me longer to do than the applications themselves! im not sure if im even visiting some of these colleges on my list, hopefully i can do that sometime. im really lazy now, and barely get any exercise at all. not to mention i dont exactly have a nutritious diet either. good thing i have a healthy body, or else i would be very out of shape. if i dont play tennis this spring, i could break the 130 pound mark!! im sure theres something i could do to be productive. ive also decided to take off from working at wegmans this week. working pretty much sucks, im not sure if i can stand working as a cashier up until the end of summer. although i do notice very tasty foods when im scanning items, and now im much more familiar with the wegmans layout and where things are. in fact, ive learned that wegmans sells white castle burgers, which i have come to realize are very delicious with turkey hill raspberry iced tea. i dont think ive read for pleasure in a very very long time, but i finally decided to read brave new world over break. actually, its for an english project, but we chose our books freely. so in a sense i am somewhat reading for pleasure, but not really. im having trouble getting past the author's note and introduction, those always seem to bore me. ive been watching a ton of tv this break, including the olympics. im not sure why, but sometimes i even watch figure skating..... nothing is really interesting, except for maybe speed skating, but i cant seem to take my eyes off the tv. im just waiting for the olympics to be over though, so that a special week of deal or no deal can come back on! haha it is a pointless show, but fascinating too. im super glad i didnt sign up for HMMT, or else this week of break would feel too short. other than that, i will just watch some more women's aerial ski jump tongiht and sleep for a good 14 hours

| a funny website my friend showed me:
http://www.greenchair.net/funny/excerpts-from-court-reporters.htm
if youre too lazy to copy and paste it, read this:
"These are from a book called Disorder in the American Courts, and are things people actually said in court, word for word, taken down and now published by court reporters that had the torment of staying calm while these exchanges were actually taking place."
my personal favorite:
Q: What gear were you in at the moment of the impact? 'A: Gucci sweats and Reeboks.

| another week of labwork... and i've actually started summer hw, realizing that i'm not gonna finish it before school starts. in other news, i've finished harry potter 6 and i know what will happen in book 7! i'm psychic, so if you want to know, just ask me and i'll tell you everythign you need to know.last night, i watched american history x, which i recommend to everyone. the edited version of course. i hear the unedited version/directors cut actually shows the guys jaw being ripped open when edward norton stomps on it. gross. but amazing movie | | |
